The Eurocopter EC135 is a state-of-the-art multi-purpose aircraft.It is outfitted with the most up-to-date systems in terms of instrumentation, materials and engineering.It weighs in at around 49 kg, features an 3,20m rotor diameter, and gets its boost from a turbine engine.
The pilot of this helicopter is Michael Franke.From tip-to-tail this RC EC-135 displays an accuracy of detail to the real aircraft not normally seen in the RC helicopter hobby. ![]() First flew on February 15, 1994, the EC135 has been powered by a Turbomeca Arrius or by a Pratt Whitney Canada PW206 and is equipped with a bearingless main rotor. Succeeded by EC635P2 EC135T2 2002 Powered by two 452 kW (606 shp) Turbomeca Arrius 2B2 EC135P2 2006 Powered by two 463 kW (621 shp) Pratt Whitney Canada PW206B2 with FADEC, extended component time between overhaul (TBOs) and a change in the ma. EC135T2 2006 Powered by two 473 kW (634 shp) Arrius 2B2 with FADEC and others upgrades. Aircraft upgraded to this standard ( not built ) are known as EC135T2.
